The doors open at 12:30pm and the film starts at 1:00pm Light refreshments will be served.
This 38-minute documentary takes an in-depth look into how our health care system is damaging our economy, suffocating our businesses, discouraging physicians and negatively impacting the nation's health while remaining unaffordable for a third of our citizens.
This event is intended to increase public awareness of the issues that prevent health care access for all people in the United States and what we can do about it. As one reviewer wrote: “Can America change the course of its wildly dysfunctional healthcare system? The ideas presented in Fix It: Healthcare at the Tipping Point could serve as a strong dose of inspiration if they choose to try.”
Following the film, there will be a community discussion led by a panel of healthcare professionals. This is an important conversation that we need to have together, so please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org and share this event with your friends and family.
